All of your stories are wonderful and The Little Red Book is no exception. Through these stories I’ve learned more about God and the Bible. It’s a perfect read for those who wish to know more about God and His love for us.

Subject: Pathway Through Pain by Jane Grayshon
Mike, I am purposefully going to keep this book review short and to the point. If you are going through a prolonged period of physical pain and suffering or have a spouse who is suffering, then you must read this book!
In my life I see suffering on a daily basis, I see my precious wife struggling with the effects of chronic pain which has lasted more than 10 years and has become progressively worse. Now disabled she has begun to question why God even keeps her around, she feels at times useless and unproductive, and would just like to die.
Reading Pathway Through Pain has helped both my wife and me to understand that the emotions we have encountered on this “Road of Suffering”, are OK, they are not because of lack of faith, or deep seated sin. The feelings and emotions are not selfish, but real expressions coming forth from God’s precious children in the midst of the “Furnace of Afflication.”
Jane tells it like it is, and expresses the feelings she is experiencing, even though many would say “A Christian shouldn’t feel that way”, BOLOGNA!!!
She addresses real feelings felt by a real Christian, not some text book response to how we think as Christians we should respond.
So many times well meaning Brothers and Sisters in Christ try to encourage a loved one going through a trial, yet they ended up “shooting the wounded” with their words. Reading this book will give you a better understanding of the internal struggles taking place in the mind of the suffering saint of God, and how to encourage and support and love them through the trial.
Read it! You will be blessed.

Hi Mike,
Last night I sat down and read the first 100 pages of “Pathway through Pain.” What a page turner this book is! I immediately shared with Carroll what I had read and I read aloud the first 30 pages with her. Both of us can connect with what the author is relating, I could see that Carroll was encouraged by what she heard. We look forward to reading through the rest of this book together over the next few days.
Thank you for thinking of us and loaning this book for us to read. When we get done reading I will write a more detailed review, but I can say already that I highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to understand what goes on inside a person who is suffering.
May the Lord continue to bless your very important ministry.

Wow Grandpa,
You did a fine job on this site. It’s quite fancy. Unfortunately it doesn’t load very fast, but the information that comes up when the site loads is quite valuable. I really appreciate your stories such as “A Christmas Mystery” because your messages are uplifting and give a better idea as to how much God loves us. I appreciate the encouragement found in your stories, and I’m sure other people do as well.

Mike,
The colors look great, the tabs at the top are very professional and I’m quite impressed with this new site of yours.
Now I’m going to go read a few stories Mike. God bless you as you continue to reach out to others, including strangers. Surely when you meet Him face to face He will say, “Well done, you have been a good and faithful servant”. There can be no greater reward Mike. God bless you and I am thankful that he placed such a caring heart in Mr. Mike Cunningham. You are such a blessing to so many.

Mike, the website is very cool! I do know and love the stories and I’m hoping you’re working on yet more of them. I love the introduction too! It’s subtle but unmistakable! Thanks be to God who inclined you to write the stories and make them available for all to read! Agnes

Dad-
I believe that this site will bless a lot of people and I have no doubt that you will find yourself on the top of the list of people you least expected to be blessed through it. It is oftentimes through our gifts to others that we find ourselves as the unexpected recipients of even greater blessings.
My blessing is that I have the greatest Dad, and the greatest dad, in the world and that they both teach and love me unconditionally and without judging my constant screw-ups.
