NEVER ALONE

When you feel alone and burdened
and it seems that no one cares,
There is One who walks beside you
and He tells you, “I’ll be there.”

Though the waters seem so troubled
and you cannot bear the pain,
You must never be discouraged,
There is sunshine after rain.

Often tears relieve the hurting
and you feel a sweet release,
as you give it all to Jesus
you receive a settled peace.

It is wrong to fear and worry
But we’re human if we do,
In His perfect will He’ll keep us
If to Him we’re always true.

So in Him I feel assurance
There will come a brighter day,
If I trust upon His promise
Daily read His Word and pray!
